NOTICE

1. The City email list being compiled by Mayor Chappell, Sally Hasselwander and Sally Rhea currently represents about 45% of the homes in Northfield. You are encouraged to contact one of the above to include your email address so that “breaking”news can be sent to your “mail box”!

2. A new suggestionbox@cityofnorthfield.com email address is now in use. Anyone with questions, suggestions or comments may use this email address, and it will go to the entire City Council.

3.TRIKES FOR TIKES needs used bicycles regardless of condition and size. Bikes are repaired and delivered to needy kids at no cost. Contact Jim Duggins@ 425-6601 to arrange drop-off. Tax deductible contribution. Also, need volunteers to assist in repair and distribution. No special skills required.

4. Picnic Committee: The city is seeking volunteers to organize the annual City Picnic.

5. Thanks to Janet Hickey Upton for making available her Northfield history project. Upton has given us a glimpse of the beginning of Northfield by painstakingly researching the history of her home at 2200 Glenview Ave.. The history will be presented in serial fashion within the Northfield web site.
